Our story

The idea for droply was born while hiking through the New Mexico desert along the Continental Divide Trail. Out there, finding reliable water sources was a challenge, and we quickly realized how valuable it would be to share up-to-date information about water access with others.

That’s why we created droply—a platform where hikers, travelers, and anyone on the go can discover, share, and update water sources worldwide.

Our vision

A world where access to free public drinking water is just a tap away.

We believe that everyone should be able to find drinking water easily—without barriers or cost. That’s why we’re building droply: a global map powered by technology and community. Whether it’s a fountain in the city or a spring in nature, our goal is to connect people to reliable, public water sources, wherever they are.
